Tea Party Must Go Viral...

Written by Common Senseless

Chances are you’ve heard of the Tea Party demonstrators touring the country.  Their bandwagon has grown, and has gained notoriety, drawing coverage from media outlets across America.  That have been commended for their defense of American values, and the Constitutional imperatives that have allowed us the freedom we exercise on a daily basis.  They have also been condemned as “evil mongers,” by Congressman Harry Reid, and others have suggested that their support is a fabrication of some Right wing conspiracy group.  Tea party demonstrations have taken place in every state in the country and the support they have received has been remarkable.  Their message is spread by demonstrators all across the country, and their online contingency is also gaining readership and support.  The importance of both segments of the Tea Party system is important.  Though picketing and representation in town hall meetings is of the utmost importance, the online segment must not be brushed aside as less important.  This is not to say that the online faction of Tea Party representatives have not done their job in spreading the message of independence, on the contrary, they have.  However, it is important for the message to be highlighted online; drawing support from social networks like Facebook and Twitter, and forums where freethinking Americans share like minded ideals.  With todays media infested with leftist journalists who favor a fairy tale writing style to true journalistic work, it’s important to spread the pro American message in the most utilized communication tool in the history of the world.

While members of ACORN bite the fingers off of supporters of true American values, the Tea Party will grow in size and strength.  Protesting with reason and logic as their weapons against nonsense and thuggery.  Utilizing the internet as well as grassroots protesting is necessary in defeating those that wish to kill the freedom endowed upon the citizenry of the United States in the Constitution.

Some ideas for online support of American values…

1.  Join social networking groups that support the rights of the individual… you may not agree with everyone in the group, but I think we can all agree that the freedom to have such disagreements is fundamental to the sanctity of a free Republic…  Facebook and Twitter are both full of groups, or bloggers fighting for a free America…

2.  Share articles and videos with other members of these groups, or with people who you might think share your opinion… no need to force them to listen, just make the information available…

3.  Be active in the groups you join.  Commenting on group pages, twitter updates, and blog posts, is important in building readership and the participation of other members, or those looking for a voice that can motivate them.

4.  Working individually for our own self interest is important.  Even if people reply, in a negative context, to something you post, don’t be disheartened.  You aren’t doing this for them, if they can’t see the truth, know that they have chosen not too.  The idea that you should censure your views so that others feelings are not hurt, is just that, the censoring of ideas relevant to you.  If you buy into this (though it is important in certain situations, as long as you are not compromising your values) public censorship, then you are actively taking part in the elimination of your Constitutional right to free speech.

5.  This last one is simple, and is more of a simplified summary of tip number 4… Never compromise your values.  If someone speaks out against what you believe to be right, respond; at the very least let them know that you do not agree with their assertion that your stance in wrong.  It is important to reserve passion in places where it can affect your career, or when your passion overrides your cognitive ability to argue rationally, so keep your emotions in check.

If you have any other opinions on how to grow support against a government that is limiting your Constitutional rights, by growing government and imposing their will on the private industry that has been the foundation of this country, feel free to reply… As always, your responses are appreciated…
